ELEVATE TO NEW HEIGHTS 

3D printing has proven its use in many industries for small applications. This same technique would be even more productive for large parts and prototypes as the conventional methods often require exceptional larger machines and costs. With this knowledge the XceL 3D printer opens new possibilities with large scale 3D printing for prototyping and production. 

Large

The XceL has a build volume of 550 x 500 x 2320 mm which yields a total volume of 638 L to fit any print. To be able to fill this volume, the maximum nozzle flow is increased to 45 mm³/s with a 1.2mm nozzle and a max layer height of 600 micron, for super fast, large scale printing. Printing this large requires stability, so the build volume is enclosed for a stable print environment and the platform is made of a granite composite for durability and super flatness. 

Automated

Operating a 3D printer should be easy and to ensure this, the printing process is mostly automated. The patented PerfectLevel™ Bed calibration levels the print bed and is fully automatic to decrease failure to a minimum. Also, the filament detection pauses your print when your filament runs out. This gives you time to swap your filament with a fresh spool, which is done with the semi-automatic filament loading sequence. 

Intelligent

This industrial 3D printer can be fully controlled on the 5 inch touchscreen. This makes it easy to use for even untrained personnel. Behind this screen the Leapfrog Interface is found, to provide control and information about the XceL. Connect the XceL to your local network through cable or wifi and use the on-board storage for stand-alone printing. When logged in, the XceL can then be controlled from any device with network capability and a browser, allowing you the upload, start, pause, stop and monitor your prints. Monitoring your prints can be done with the (optional) builtin webcam that allows you to track the progress of your print at any time.
